About

Built from the inside.
Not the outside
.

Clinicable was founded by two people who spent years working inside and alongside healthcare businesses before they ever worked together. What they found, independently and then jointly, was the same problem everywhere.

The story

The support existed.

It just never quite added up.

Dan and Grace crossed paths working inside a healthtech startup. Different roles. Different specialisms. The same frustrations.

Healthcare businesses with real potential, held back by support that was fragmented, generic and rarely delivered by people who understood the sector well enough to make a real difference.

Most healthcare businesses have some of this covered. A bookkeeper doing the basics. An accountant seen once a year at year end. A governance consultant called in when something goes wrong. The support exists but it is reactive, fragmented and rarely joined up.

Clinicable works differently. Not replacing what is already in place but working alongside it, filling the gaps and giving the organisation a proper view of how everything fits together. Some need support across all three areas. Some need one. Clinicable works around what the organisation actually needs and stays involved.

The belief

Most healthcare businesses are well supported in one or two areas. Rarely all three. Clinicable exists because someone needed to bring it together properly.

Getting to know a business properly before advising it is not radical. It is just the right way to do it.

Every organisation is different. Some need all three areas supported. Some need one. Clinicable works around what the organisation actually needs, not a fixed package that may not fit.

Not a consultant. Not a helpline. A partner.

A nurse who ended up running healthcare businesses. That probably tells you most of what you need to know.

A nurse by background who built his career at the operational and governance edge of healthcare. Director level roles across clinical, operational and corporate governance in NHS, independent and voluntary sector organisations. He has led CQC turnarounds, built governance frameworks from the ground up, managed multi-site healthcare operations and worked internationally with the World Health Organisation. An MBA and years of director level business operations experience sit alongside the clinical and regulatory specialism.

He started Clinicable because the problem was obvious and the solution was not complicated. Healthcare businesses needed proper support from people who actually understood the sector. Not reports. Not consultants. People who get stuck in and stay involved.

That is what he enjoys most about the work. Getting properly into a business, understanding how it ticks and being the person on the other end of the phone when something needs sorting.

The team

The right person.

Every time.

Clinicable is built around subject matter experts. Not generalists who have read about healthcare. People who have sat in regulatory inspections, managed healthcare finances and run organisations through the difficult moments. You always get someone who has been there before.

Subject matter experts across finance, governance and business management
Every piece of work quality checked before it reaches a client
A deliberately small client base so every organisation gets proper attention
A named key contact for every client, so you always know who to call
